He demonstrates here that navy goes beautifully with any shade of blue, and shades of green work harmoniously together! Click on any image for a closer look.

Look 1:
IMG_1800 Here, the Elizabeth McKay Cameron Skirt pairs perfectly with the Elizabeth McKay Brooker Shirt in a Tulip print. The exact shades of navy don’t have to match- the look still pulls together. The gold buttons on the shirt make this piece a perfect match with a gold necklace, like this hammered link collar by Lorren Bell. Plus, the skirt has pockets! With all these looks, Mark suggests a metallic shoe, or any one of the colortone shoes by Jack Rogers.

Look 2:

IMG_1803 Keeping the Elizabeth McKay skirt, the look is lightened with this silk shirt by Elizabeth McKay in the butterfly print. This one has pretty, feminine cap sleeves, but the shirt is also available with no sleeves and long sleeves. The neckline has a lovely ruffle and french-cuff style buttons. Note that the green and blue in this shirt isn’t an exact match with those in the skirt, but as an ensemble, the pieces look as if they were made to go together!

Look 3:

IMG_1807 For the last look with the Elizabeth McKay Cameron skirt, Mark has paired it with a polka dot shirt by Skirtin’ Around. The long sleeves are tucked into this simple and pretty Moore Cardigan by Lilly Pulitzer. The Lorren Bell gold necklace is still a perfect accessory, matching the gold buttons along the shirt. The classic collar looks great peeking above the top of the sweater. In this look, the blue field on the shirt is much lighter than the aqua in the skirt, but it works. Remember- blues and greens always look great with other blues and greens, so have fun with them!
