This line involves vibrant colors and designs with comfort, style and enjoyment as her priority. According to Gretchen her brand embodies a place that is chic, joyous, playful and fun. She began her business by making flower baskets which evolved into all types of items along with a clothing line. Gretchen gets most of her inspiration for her designs from India and says Indian simplicity clarified even the most complicated design elements. Hand blocks, complex patterns, and vibrant colors define her designs. She has taken this simplicity and energetic colors to another level by giving her clothing items amusing names such as: gripeless pull on pants, damsel midi, duke of york and outta site dress. This is a Belgian Company which draws its inspiration from African lands. Their finished product is in a class all their own since they use master glassblowers to blow their own glass, place the wax in the glass by hand and make their own fragrances. They have also been able to include new expertise such as engraving and painting on glass or the application of gold and silver silk-screen printing. This addition of know-how is at the service of the creation of constantly innovative and decorative products. Therefore, these collections are not just elegant candles to use for a season. Their votive can be used as decorative displays for years to come.

The two collections that we have available in our store presently are: the Marrakech which is a fragrance blend of woody, spicy and floral and the Caravane which is earthy and woody with hints of leather and smoke. The Marrakech candle has the gates of the Marrakech Medina drawn on the glass of the candle. The Caravane captures the timeless allure of ancient camel caravans journeying across the deserts of Africa and the Orient. Featuring a 24-carat gold screen-printed design. This is the Christmas Limited edition.

Jay began his career in 1981 while a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. After garnering raves for a necklace he made for his mother, he took jewelry samples to the open buyer days at several of New York’s department stores and a burgeoning business was born. Although he attended a fashion school, he seems to be an artisan at heart. He began by making costume jewelry and taking everyday items such as boxes and picture frames and dressing them up into a work of art. His Ornament Collection is the product of his talent and love of creating beauty and elegance. These ornaments are made of hand blown glass and intricately painted with enamel using glitter and crystal. The cost of these ornaments range from $165.00 to $475.00, a small price to pay for such quality and artisanship. We have, at the time of this post, all twelve days of Christmas Ornaments displayed along with other Christmas Ornaments. Also, we have stands to display the ornaments sold separately; $75.00 for a small stand and $95.00 for a large one.
