Look One:
This casual fun look is perfect for hanging out, shopping, and enjoying the company of friends. Comfortable and stylish, it showcases pattern and texture in a neutral palette. The Sara Campbell pants are topped with a sheer dot top by Comfy. The top is folded along the bottom, and is actually quite long. It can be worn with a variety of looks. Underneath is a basic tee shirt. If you were so inclined, a bright color could be a great choice for an undershirt with this sheer top; Mark opted for white here to keep this look more neutral. The shawl piece is a ruana by Sara Campbell, turned backward. The pompom tassels echo the print and pattern of the other items. The texture of the ruana is nubby and so soft! The final piece is a Spartina handbag, which complements the taupe colors and round shapes in the ensemble. This outfit would look great with a casual flat shoe in another neutral tone.
Look Two:
This business casual look is bold and tailored. A crisp white shirt by Sara Campbell brightens the look. The shirt features a modern collar and covered buttons that keep the look clean, and a sheer sash that can be tied in front or back. Here, it’s tied in the back under the jacket. The necklace is a stunner, a vintage piece by Christian Lacroix. The polished spherical stones mimic the rounded patterns in the rest of the ensemble, and the warm tones complement the taupe shades in the pant. Mark recommends a nude shoe, perhaps a low or high heel. These hem on the leg of these pants skims the ankle, so it’s a good idea to avoid colors or styles that will weigh the foot down too much.
Look Three:
This look brings the pants into the evening. The Sara Campbell tie-back shirt is retained from the previous look along with the Sara Campbell pants. This time, the shirt is tucked in, giving more emphasis to the jacket. The gorgeous silk jacket by Grace Chung NY adds luxury and character. The jacket is reversible, and on one side features a beautifully textured pattern in a light gold tone. The other side is a light creamy green. Looking close at the gold side, you see that there is again a swirling, circle-laden pattern, overlaid on a grid background. This grid is echoed in the diamond-patterned handbag by Ivanka Trump. The metallic sheen of the handbag is found again in the accessories by 1AR, tying everything together. Both the necklace and the matching earrings feature gold, copper, and silver. All these and the green and gold of the jacket open up many more color options for shoes, especially metallic ones!
